How to change the Mysql Administrator password

Quick! How do you do that again?

Simple enough:

# mysqladmin -u insert_admin_name -p'old_password' password 'new_password'

For instance:

# mysqladmin -u galactus -p'foobar' password 'RmNv6OpY7eAIc'

The command shown above changes the password of the galactus administrator from foobar to something a bit more secure...

This is more of a reminder for me, since I hate Mysql and try to avoid using that thing as much as I can.

Hope this helps!
